BEGINNING FILM ACTING
Acting skills and performance techniques for the camera.
Using actual television scripts, screenplays, commercial copy and soap scripts, the student will be videotaped in scenes for in class critiques. Personal and professional qualities needed to succeed in this challenging field will be discussed. The class will be held in our newly constructed video facility.
ADVANCED FILM ACTING
An intensive twelve-week course tailored to the individual.
This class will be working on a short film production which will be planned and completed during the class. It will leverage the skills which you learned in the Beginning Film course and culminate with a fully produced and edited production. This experience will increase your knowledge of both the acting and many technical aspects of the art of film performance. Shoot times may be arranged outside of routine class hours. The Beginning Film Acting class, or equivalent experience, is a prerequisite to enroll.
